Our Annual Stewardship Campaign

September marks the kick-off of MCCW-Worldwide’s first annual stewardship campaign.  In the coming weeks, chapel groups, MCCW leaders, and active MCCW-Worldwide participants will receive an appeal from MCCW and a letter of support from Archbishop Broglio for designated offerings for MCCW-Worldwide, Inc.  In addition to this designated offering appeal, we have also created a secure online donation site through PayPal that individuals can use to financially support the mission of MCCW-Worldwide, Inc.

Each individual who contributes to MCCW-Worldwide online between now and September 30 will be entered into an opportunity drawing for a free registration fee* to one of our regional retreats of the recipient’s choosing in 2014.  We encourage you to consider financially supporting the mission of MCCW-Worldwide, Inc.

Why contribute to MCCW-Worldwide, Inc.?

The Archdiocese for the Military Services supports the nearly 1.8 million Catholics serving in the United States Armed Forces and their families.  Incorporated as a wholly owned subsidiary of the Archdiocese in 2013, MCCW-Worldwide, Inc. supports AMS by ministering to the women in the Archdiocese.

Thanks to our dedicated volunteers, MCCW-Worldwide, Inc. develops Catholic women affiliated with the military in spirituality, leadership, and service through:

  • Worldwide conferences held every other year
  • Annual retreats held in six locations throughout the world – from Europe to Arizona
  • In-person Journey of Faith training at military chapels that provides faith formation through classes such as apologetics scripture, and Marian theology.  Journey of Faith also offers leader development training through programs that teach Catholic women how to grow and encourage a group of volunteers, develop leadership within the parish, and work with the priest to grow disciples.

How does MCCW-Worldwide, Inc. use my gift?

Your gift to MCCW will directly support programing for Catholic women affiliated with the military through the conferences, retreats, Journey of Faith training, and online studies mentioned above.  All of the work of MCCW-Worldwide is accomplished through our dedicated volunteers who donate their time and talents to every task from managing our website to organizing each conference and retreat.

We keep our administrative costs as low as possible thanks to the generosity of our volunteers, and through holding regular meetings through teleconference.  Our administrative expenses include our PO Box, IRS tax filings, bank account fees, having an annual audit by an outside firm, and holding a board meeting at the worldwide conference to conduct business and discern new leadership.
